For example, I’ve come to learn that Thales and Standard Aero will soon introduce a compact, 4-axi helicopter autopilot system, a new automatic flight control system designed for Airbus AS350 and H125 helicopters (pictured above).

System weight is greatly reduced as this new intuitive system doesn’t require a main flight control computer. Certainly, the company’s successful flight test late last year was a key milestone in the Supplemental Type Certification (STC) process.

Another futuristic development is Jaunt Air Mobility’s effort to have an electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft in full rate production by 2026. It’s described as a cross between a helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft. Jaunt is one of Uber Elevate’s vehicle development partners.

Flexibility & Communications
Manufacturers, rotorcraft operators, parts suppliers, and FAA/EASA-Certified 145 repair stations like TTA typically network and learn about trends and new products at the big annual rotorcraft conferences – yet, many of those were cancelled this year. Instead, keeping up to date and creating rotorcraft business success in 2021 depends on two key concepts: flexibility and communications.

At TTA, we’re eager to network and meet with valued customers potential clients either by phone, virtually, or in-person one-on-one meetings – but always in a safe manner, of course. We’ll even set up a repair station tour so you can see our experts in action.

With 30-plus years of expertise and experience, we’re committed to helping you find the most effective, efficient, and safe solutions to any maintenance or repair issues. Most importantly, we’ll share our expertise freely with our valued clients. That includes Thrust Tech’s invaluable “data intel,” which can enhance your rotorcraft operations.

Ready When You Are
Why not contact us today? TTA is ready to meet your rotorcraft and other business aviation needs – everything from helicopter component overhauls to annual inspections, aircraft/rotorcraft maintenance and repairs, avionics, structural repairs, and more. We have solid experience in working on everything from Bell Helicopters to the BK117 Eurocopter, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, and Airbus H145.

On the parts side of keeping rotorcraft and fixed wing aircraft in tip-top shape, Thrust Tech currently owns over 60 PMAs and 50 DERs used in the repair and overhaul of units to deliver more competitive solutions to our customers, particularly helpful because of limited support on the market for certain product lines.

Did you know that Thrust Tech also has sizably increased the level of our parts inventory during this challenging era? We have the ability to meet your flight critical parts needs – efficiently, economically, and quickly – whether it’s replacing a hydraulic pump, starter generator, or ignition exciter.

A Bright Future
When it comes to the rotorcraft business environment, we also see a bright future. The global helicopter-based transportation market is expected to increase by $1.29 billion during 2021-2025, with 38 percent of that originating in North America, according to a recent research study by Technavio.

One key driver is the rise of super mediums, with Technavio reporting an increase in the use of super mediums in the oil and gas industry. One reason is that these new helicopters can typically carry 16 passengers up to 150 nautical miles or even beyond, the average distance of offshore sites.

While rotorcraft industry trends will come and go, new products will launch, and successful companies will continue to innovate, TTA’s priority will always remain constant. Superb customer service, expert rotorcraft overhaul and repair services, helpful exchange and consignment options and efficient, economical and safe rotorcraft services for our customers are our hallmarks.

After all, simply put, our goal is to keep you in the air!

Thrust Tech Accessories is a veteran owned and operated FAA/EASA Certified 145 Repair Station located in Ft.
